The accused is under apprehension of the respondent-police. Therefore, he has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail in Crime No.83/2020 for the offences punishable under Section 307 of Indian Penal Code, in the event of his arrest, by urging various grounds. It is stated in the complaint that on 31.5.2020 the complainant had visited the house of his sister along with his friend Hanumantharaju at around 5.30 p.m. While they were returning to Lakkenahalli from Nagavalli village in the motor cycle bearing Registration No.KA.06 EQ.2339 of Honda Shine near the land of one Venkatesh, at the relevant point of time the petitioner said to be arraigned as an accused came there along with deadly weapon chopper and tried to assault him near the neck. But the injured complainant was escaped from the hit made by the accused. As a result of the same, the complainant has sustained injury on the shoulder and he went away from the spot.
