Nature of Litigation

Writ petitions under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, 1950 challenging orders passed by civil courts in a suit concerning control and management of a registered society.

Remedy Sought

Petitioners sought quashing of orders dated 14.01.2026 in MA Nos.25/2025 and 26/2025 by the 1st Addl. Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Hassan and orders dated 04.12.2025 on IA Nos.III and IV in O.S.No.762/2025 by the VII Additional Civil Judge and JMFC, Hassan; and to allow their interim application to restrain opposite party from acting as office bearers and to dismiss the opposite party's application.

Filing Reason

Dispute over the management of Malnad Technical Education Society, Hassan, with petitioners claiming to be its Secretary, Chairman, and Treasurer and alleging that the trial court erroneously rejected their applications for interim protection.
