The appellant, Kailash s/o Jagdeo Gade, was convicted by the Adhoc Additional Sessions Judge, Khamgaon in Sessions Trial No.25 of 2007 for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to life imprisonment with a fine of Rs 2000, in default to undergo rigorous imprisonment for six months.
