Case Note & Summary

The case arises from a land dispute between two families. On the date of incident, the informant's family members were attacked by a group of accused. Two accused were convicted for murder and causing grievous hurt, while others were acquitted. The convicted accused appealed, and the informant appealed against the acquittal of some accused. The High Court upheld the conviction of the two accused based on consistent testimony of injured witnesses and medical evidence. The court found no reason to interfere with the acquittal of others as the evidence was insufficient. Both appeals were disposed of accordingly.
